The Élan Vital Program receives 54 proposals

A total of 54 projects have been submitted to the first call for proposals under the Élan Vital Program, an initiative by the HiTT Foundation to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the life sciences and health sector.

The program offers a grant of 20,000 euros—which includes expert guidance and support—to each of the two top projects selected from among the best proposals submitted. These proposals will be evaluated based on both the level of innovation they demonstrate and the potential impact of the product, service, or technology developed.

The 54 proposals submitted come from all over Spain, including projects from Madrid, Andalusia, the Valencian Community, Castile and León, Galicia, the Basque Country and Aragon, as well as Catalonia, where almost half of the projects are based.

In accordance with the program guidelines, the finalists will be selected in early September, and a jury of experts will choose the two winning projects from among them; the winners will be announced on 30 September.
